Ask yourself, when was the last time you followed an organized schedule? Maybe you follow one already, but it’s getting repetitive and you want something new! Or maybe you just go with the flow and never really get anything done! I’m here to help!
As a teen blogger I haven’t always had a schedule that I could follow and still be organized! I would lose things, I would stay up late, and never get up in the morning! But as of this last year, I have created a schedule for myself that has truly helped me get through my day, even in the most stressful situations! Today I will share what strategies I use to stay motivated, and organized when following a schedule suitable for me! By using these strategies it should help you determine what is right for you, and how you should set up your schedule based on work, fun, exercise, and more!

Start by..
Asking yourself, “do I get enough sleep?”. Sleep is the most important part to have an organized schedule! What time do you go to sleep?, what time do you wake up? Whatever the answer is, it’s unique to you! BUT it’s important that you go to sleep at the same time every night and you get up at the same time every morning!
With schedules it’s always a good idea to set specific times for different events! What time do you need to be at work? What will you do after?
Time management!
Learn how to manage your time! How long do you do specific things? How do you use your time?
– a good way to start off a schedule is to write down what you do for the entire day! Write what you do when you wake up, and what you do before and after lunch! Write down the times, and the places you have to be in those times. This all starts with time management! Learning how to manage your time is going to help you not be late for a specific meeting. It’s going to help you get up in the morning when you seriously dread it because you have work, or you just want to sleep in!
This brings me to my next point!
Balance!
Throughout your day you are going to have important things to do! Maybe some things you don’t want to do! But in a schedule there are ways to balance what you have to do vs. what you want to do. To make your day a lot more enjoyable!
Example: 8:00 am – workout 8:45 am – breakfast 9:25 am – go to work 2:00 pm – go for a walk!
Some of these things are more enjoyable than others! And it’s totally okay to just sit on the couch and watch movies for however long as well! As long as you are staying active on your lazy days!
Lazy days!
On your lazy days it’s still important to have some activity in your day! Keeping your body moving and working is important! Some examples of things to do to stay active on lazy days are..
- Cook a new meal
- Go for a walk
- workout
- Clean the house
- see friends! (When you can)
- journal
- Try yoga!
Those are just some, of MANY examples of things to do!
Now for your schedule!
For creating your schedule, you want to have balance of fun and work! So write a list of things you like to do, and write down when you have to work! Think about when you can fit in both! It is important you stay as organized as possible to keep following this new schedule!! You have to be able to look forward to something in your schedule, to get excited about when you can have a little fun!
Schedules don’t just have to be super specific! As long as you get up the same time every morning, and you fill your day with things you love to do, it’s all up to you! Schedules just make you feel more organized and like you have your life more put together! They can also give you tons of room to do whatever you want to!
If I don’t follow my schedule, I will write a list of everything I need to do during the day, so I feel more accomplished when I’ve completed those tasks!
I hope this blog helped you! If it did please leave some feedback! I would love to hear from you!!
